Who We Are
Our congregation was established in 1867. We are warm, caring, generous, and ready to laugh. We hold high the Word of God and want very much to reach our community and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We recognize there is some baggage to these labels, but if the terms "conservative" and "evangelical" were garments, they would fit us pretty well. We are a body committed to upholding the sanctity of all human life and pursuing the moral guidelines expressed by God in the Bible. We do and will fall short, but we believe in forgiveness and we run the race with perseverance. Our regular Sunday Worship Services begin as close to 9:25 a.m. as possible and we host an evening gathering from September to May at 6:00 p.m.
What We Strive To Do
- Worship the One True and Triune God of the Bible
- Share the Good News of eternal life that is ours by grace, through faith in the sinless life, atoning death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ
- Uphold the truth of God's Word
- Train the next generation in the Way of the Lord.
- Reach out to our community and the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Spend quality time with one another.
- Provide a place where people from all walks of life can come, hear, and experience the boundless grace of God--as our sign declares: there are "no perfect people allowed" here.
